Grant Aid

Flitton & Greenfield Parish Council raise money in the form of taxes which is collected with your council tax bill.

The majority of your council taxes are spent by Central Bedfordshire Council on statutory duties Education, Roads, Social Services etc.

However a relatively small amount of money goes to the Parish Council to be spent on the Playing Field, Cemetery, grass cutting and general maintenance to improve the appearance of the Villages.

The Parish Council does have some finance available to fund projects which are deemed to benefit the community or may be run by volunteers from the community. Some of the funding may have been obtained from third parties already or you may be starting from scratch. Please contact Nick Thompson on 860421 to see if your project might be suitable or see documentation below
